My Baby

Several weeks ago, I noticed that Matthew was no longer coloring by holding the pencil in his fist. He was actually using a true pencil grip, even though we have never demonstrated how to correctly hold a pen/pencil. In church on Sunday, he was very precisely circling and coloring over specific words on the paper. Then yesterday, during our FHE activity, I just had to get pictures. He was concentrating so intently on his drawing that he didn't look like a baby anymore, he looked like a little boy.



His fine motor skills are definitely progressing rapidly. He has always been a fast developer where fine and gross motor skills are concerned. I guess it makes up for his resistance to using words in his verbal communication (he is an excellent communicator-just not with words).
