Change in Person

After writing quite a few of these blogs in the third person, I decided that I would enjoy it more if I wrote in the first person, making it a little more personal. So, if you wonder why an English teacher would change person in the course of her writing--that's why. In addition, I decided to give it a little more of a journal feel by including thoughts and anecdotes, as well as the "this is what we have been doing" travelogue.
