Peek-a-boo

The night before last, while getting Matthew ready for bed, he added a new dimension to the game of peek-a-boo. I took his diaper off and went to get a clean diaper. I turned back around to see Matthew covering his privates with both hands. He looked up at me and said, "Wereisit"? Then with a huge smile and a laugh he opened up his hands, just like in peek-a-boo, and revealed himself. He thought it was hilarious and continued the game for several minutes. I did suggest playing peek-a-boo with his feet and belly button, but that first body part was definitely his favorite. I guess with diapers, it is a natural sort of peek-a-boo.
